We namen het 5 gangen diner. Alle gerechten waren super lekker, en ruim voldoende groot. We namen ook een aangepast wijnselectie, interessante wijntjes die lekker waren voor een aanvaardbare prijs. De service was prettig, de timing van de gerechten perfect.
Inhet gedeelte waar we zaten was het interieur wat verouderd.

vlotte bediening. Presentatie en de smaak van elk bord was verrassend. Bijhorend wijnarrangement bestond uit een pallet van voor ons minder maar leuke Europese wijnen. Het was aangenaam voor ons om dit restaurant toe te voegen aan ons adressenlijstje !

The famous Knokke restaurant Jardin changes its name early 2019 and gets a new team at the helm. After 24 years, chef Christophe Van den Berghe and hostess Evy Robbyns leave the restaurant and kitchen team to their sommelier Geoffrey Adam and his wife Pamela Dewitte, who have been working for them for more than twelve years. Christophe and Evy themselves remain active in their brasserie Café de Paris, also in Knokke.Restaurant Jardin, like many other things on our coast, had a fantastic year. Stop at a peak and leave the matter in the best possible hands? Christophe Van den Berghe and Evy Robbyns had not considered this at the beginning of this year. Whoever predicted that, they might have declared a little crazy. But see, the beginning of 2019 is the day. "Our sommelier Geoffrey Adam and his wife Pamela Dewitte told us during the summer that they secretly dream of starting their own business one day," said chef Christophe Van den Berghe. “For us this first came as a surprise, but in retrospect it seemed normal given their enthusiasm and professionalism.
