Kelle: a trench or depth between 2 sandbanks, or a ‘little sea’. This little sea became our haven, for those who love all the delicacies from the North Sea.
Chef Thierry Cornelis, born and bred in Koksijde, child of the sea, and also a teacher at the Hotelschool ‘Ter Duinen’, and his wife Tjörven Ghysdael, are your host and hostess in this ‘little sea’. The chef starts from a traditional basis, and during the year he creates his dishes, in the summer with sunny, Mediterranean accents, with own fresh regional products during the winter.
De Kelle serves 3 different seasonal menus, prepared with love and devotion. Behind the restaurant, you will discover a little piece of the Provence, in the center of Koksijde! You can really wine and dine on a sun-drenched terrace, in a sea of splendid flowers, under the grapevine and the rose bush… Just walk through the spic and span kitchen.
Gault Millau selected this terrace as one of the most beautiful in the Benelux.
