Vol verwachting gingen we het restaurant binnen. We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen, niet stijf of geforceerd, heel aangenaam. De lunch was een leuke afwisseling van frisse toetsen en stevige smaken. We zijn net geen 3h binnen geweest, perfect voor een lunch. Hier komen we zeker nog een keertje terug... one off the bucketlist!

een absolute topper zowel in het bord als in de vlotte en feilloze, attente bediening. Het oog van de meester weet de juiste, kwalitatieve ingrediënten samen te selecteren. Het hand van de meester brengt ze samen in creaties waar verrassende combinaties de zintuigen prikkelen.
Enkele highlights. Het hoeft daarom niet moeilijk te zijn toont de amuse van watermeloen met sesam. Het hoeft geen vlees toont de sla van tuinboontjes met een quenelle van vermouth. Wij nemen anders nooit kaas bij zo'n menu, maar de Schotse schimmelkaas met 70% chocolade en geconfijte druifjes ... of roomijs van stilton met chutney en hazelnoot... die kans lieten we niet voorbij gaan. En wat hebben we genoten. Ook alle andere gerechten waren culinaire voltreffers. Een derde ster lijkt dra in zicht.
